Teaching Course 2: HEADACHE IN CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS

Migraine age and gender dependent clinical pictures

 

She is a specialist of Neurology, Algology and Clinical Neurophysiology in Mersin University Faculty of Medicine, Turkey. She is responsible from the outpatient wards of Headache (childhood and adult) and Dementia. She is an active member of the International Headache Society (IHS) in Pediatric SIG and Classification Sub committees. She was the President of the VIIth International Congress of Childhood and Adolescence held in 2008. She has lost of international and national published manuscripts mainly on headache, dementia and electrophysiology. She is an editor of public education book “Mom I can’t, I have headache” published by Boyut Publisher on 2014. Also she wrote another public education book named as “From the genetic pool to dower chest Migraine” published by A7 Book in 2018. She is co-editor of the books “Headache in Children and Adolescents; A Case-Based Approach”, “Headache and Comorbidities in Childhood and Adolescence” and “Interventional Headache Managements”, published by Springer on 2016, 2017, 2019, respectively. She is also an active member of MENA Headache education program. She is invited Lecturers on International Conferences with the main primary fields of interest are epidemiology of headache, comorbidity, headache database systems, childhood and adolescent headaches, dementia clinic and caregiving supporting models. She is married and mother of two boys.
